Short answers to the above questions
What should be done when the instrument stops working (especially about alg. updates)
The algorithms will be updated in about a year to 18 months from now.  Any further  updates will be discussed at that time.
Ramifications for a lower rotation speed: geolocation, …
Not an option for AMSR-E.
Will there be another Joint AMSR meeting in Japan?
Yes.  See Sasaki-san’s presentation on Tuesday, August 14.
Will the US AMSR Science Team be part of the GCOM-W Science Team?
JAXA as well as the members of the US Science Team would like the AMSR-E Science Team to be part of the GCOM Science Team.  A letter will go to Ramesh Kakar expressing our and JAXA’s wishes.
AMSR session at Micro-rad in Florence, Italy, March 2008.
Please let Elena Lobl (Elena.lobl@nasa.gov )know if you are interested in presenting at the Micro-rad Specialist meeting in Florence, Italy.
Next meeting in the US: Huntsville, AL, June 2008.
TBD (maybe Telluride?)
