Ms. Dawn Conway

Ms. Conway received her B.S. in Physics from the University of South Alabama in 1984. She is currently employeed by the University of Alabama in Huntsville's Earth System Science Laboratory, providing support to the AMSR-E US Science Team as the Lead Software Engineer.

Ms. Conway was affiliated with the MSFC Distributed Active Archive Center (DAAC) from 1993 until her recent move to the AMSR-E Team. She began her work at the MSFC DAAC as a member of the Special Sensor Microwave/Imager (SSM/I) Pathfinder team. During the period from 1994 to 1996, Ms. Conway was the task leader for the MSFC DAAC User Services staff.

From 1986 to 1993, Ms. Conway worked for AlliedSignal, Inc. at the Naval Research Laboratory in Washington, D.C. She provided support to the Passive Microwave Section of the Remote Sensing Branch. She was a member of the SSM/I Calibration/Validation Team, where her primary duties included data reduction and analysis for the absolute calibration of the first SSM/I and software support for the SSM/I simulator aircraft flights. She continued to provide support in the calibration/validation efforts for subsequent SSM/I instruments. She was also involved in a number of field experiments.
